Never endure another lackluster slice of pizza again once you learn the tips and tricks for making mouthwatering pizza at home! In this 2-hour, live stream class, Jensen will introduce you to her trusted sourdough and yeasted dough recipes, and walk you step by step through the entire process from getting the starter ready, to mixing and shaping the dough, and (of course) baking a delicious pizza. Jensen has been making pizza in woodfired ovens, tabletop pizza ovens (such as the Gozney Roccbox) and, most recently, perfecting pizza in her home oven and she can’t wait to share all she’s learned with you!
This workshop is perfect for bakers of all skill levels who are new to making pizza. (If you start practicing now you will be ready to host pizza parties all spring and summer long.) Jensen will cover how to prep toppings, what types of mozzarella she prefers, how scale a recipe up and down and how to work backwards from when you want to be serving pizza. Pizza is a simple food that offers endless, flavorful, possibilities. Part principles, part hands on, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of how to ferment your dough well, what to look for when pairing cheese and toppings and how to get the best bake in a standard home oven. Can’t wait to see you at the pizza party!
How to Participate
This class is “cooking show” style, Jensen will have all parts of the process ready to go. If you’d like to bake along, then you’ll need to be prepared up to the step you’d like to do together. You can always simply watch and ask questions. You will receive a recording the following day.
